Welcome to Keep Growing:
The Chicago Botanic Garden’s Strategic Plan.

We have titled this plan “Keep Growing” because these words both reflect our desire to grow and mature and demonstrate our commitment to help you grow and mature.  We will achieve our goals only if we enable those we serve—every person regardless of age, background, or ability—to achieve their goals.

Over the next ten years we will:

  • Deepen our impact across all program areas and audiences;
  • Broaden our recognition locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally;
  • Improve the health of our natural world for present and future generations;
  • Address the risks in our business model to ensure our financial strength.
  • Achieve our strategic and tactical goals. This will enable the Garden to grow from being great to being legendary.
